ROBERT MALLET-STEVENS
ECART unveils the reissue of three emblematic seating designs by Robert Mallet-Stevens (1886-1945): the Transat, c. 1929, the Armchair, c. 1927, and the Chair, c. 1930. Originally designed for residential commissions, these remarkably restrained pieces embody Mallet-Stevens' belief in a rational, functional, and elegant approach to design.
First introduced into the ECART catalog in 1978, these reissues will now be available in four shades: dark brown, dark green, light grey and off-white.
Discover a campaign exploring the dialogue between colour, geometry and architecture—a reflection of Mallet-Stevens’ timeless vision. The three reissued designs are presented alongside some of his most iconic buildings, including the Villa Noailles (1923-1928) in Hyères and the Hôtel Martel (c. 1927) in Paris, echoing the architectural language of each place.
