In 1926, industrialist Robert Chevalier commissioned Jean-Michel Frank and Jean Prouvé to design his villa in Épinal. The President Desk, installed in the Grand Library, is among the pieces created by Frank for this project. With two sliding trays, on either side, the desk can extend from 160 cm to 272 cm.
