Historical

Decorative architect and art writer Michel Dufet is one of the lesser-known innovators of the modern functional style. Early on, he introduced a discreet cubism into his interiors. His plans for mass-produced furniture contrast with the prevailing practice of producing luxurious, one-off pieces. The Michel Dufet chair was studied by Andrée Putman in 1985 in collaboration with the Musée Bourdelle.

Timeless

40 years later, Ecart International is still working in the footsteps of its creator, in particular by using noble materials, promoting French know-how.

Through this collection, Ecart International remains committed to bringing to life a tradition of eclecticism and timeless quality.

An art of simple and functional elegance straight out of the avant-garde spirit of the designer.
